Andrew Bailey appointed new Bank of England Governor
Caroline Rainbird, Chief Executive Officer of FSCS, comments on the appointment of Andrew Bailey as the new Bank of England Governor.
Andrew Bailey has been appointed Governor of the Bank of England. Previously Chief Executive of the Financial Conduct Authority, Bailey said of his appointment, “It is a tremendous honour to be chosen as Governor of the Bank of England and to have the opportunity to serve the people of the United Kingdom, particularly at such a critical time for the nation as we leave the European Union.”
