You might be eligible for compensation

LEBC Group Ltd (“LEBC Group”) is a financial advice firm which became authorised in its own right on 1 August 2017. On 9 August 2023 LEBC Group Ltd entered Administration. Daniel Conway and David Hudson of FRP Advisory Trading Ltd were appointed as Joint Administrators.

LEBC Group Ltd is a company that advised some customers to transfer out of Defined Benefit Pension Schemes.

By transferring to another pension arrangement, you may have lost the benefits already built up in your defined pension scheme. It may not have been realistic to achieve the same level of benefits from your new pension. Therefore, the advice you received may have not have been unsuitable for you.

If you think this applies to you, or you feel  that you may have suffered a loss in any other way, you can make a claim for compensation via the FSCS website www.fscs.org.uk/making-a-claim/

FSCS also has a dedicated page for information about Defined Benefit pension transfer claims at www.fscs.org.uk/db-transfers

FSCS will now be considering customers’ claims againstthis firm. All claims will be considered on a case-by-case basis, to determine whether or not they are eligible for compensation.

You may be able to make a claim against LEBC Group Ltd. To find out, click the ‘Check if you can claim’ button.

The next step will be to answer a series of straightforward questions.

Should you need help, click on the ‘Need help’ button and choose to speak to one of our friendly claims handlers, or type a question into the FAQ option.

If your claim is eligible, you may receive compensation up to the maximum limit of £85,000.

It’s simple to make a claim. You don't need to use a claims management company (CMC) or a solicitor to do this. If you do, you will have to share any compensation you get with them.
