Claim management companies
There is no fee to make a claim to the FSCS, and we assist claimants entirely free of charge. Some firms may offer to help you make your claim for which they will charge you a fee. The FSCS is unable to pay these fees for you.
You don't have to use these firms to make a claim to the FSCS, but if you do, remember to check the following:
- The potential costs and benefits of using a Claims Management Company
- The terms and conditions, including fees, before you sign any contract
- Whether or not the company is regulated by the Financial Services Authority, the Ministry of Justice, or by a professional body (the Law Society, for example) and therefore must meet certain standards
