Brit Insurance has confirmed that if a policyholder can provide it with evidence that they were issued with a home emergency call-out policy naming Brit Insurance as the insurer, they will settle a valid insurance claim if it falls within the terms of that policy. If you need to make a claim then please call the Brit Insurance claims number which is: 0844 804 2040. If you do not need to make a claim and your policy documentation clearly states Brit Insurance as the insuring company then you need do nothing further.

Brit Insurance has confirmed that it is not providing insurance cover for policies that were commenced or renewed after 3 December 2010. If you were sold a policy by Homecall+ after that date, or if you have a policy that renewed after that date, please contact the FSCS Initial Contact Team on 0800 678 1100.

The servicing of your boiler is separate from the insurance product and is therefore not protected by Brit Insurance or the FSCS. We suggest you contact the liquidator, Grant Thornton, regarding this on 020 7865 2658.
