BPS Insure Limited went into administration on 27th May, following action that was taken by the FSA to prevent detriment to consumers.
The administrator transferred the business to Towergate Underwriting Group Limited, a broker/underwriting agency. The administrator has told the FSA that most policyholders have valid cover.
Policyholders wanting to check the status of their policy should contact Towergate, which will advise them, and if necessary arrange alternative cover.
