FSCS publish Implementation Report (IR) and Single Customer View Report templates for firms subject to the electronic SCV requirements.
Also published is an updated preferred file format with Multi and single file formats shown. Please note, these are consistent with the relevant sections of the FSCS SCV Q&A document.
Template for firms who are not subject to the electronic requirements will be available week commencing 29 November 2010.

In meeting FSCS’ requirements to verify Deposit Taker’s Single Customer View Experian’s inherent security measures will ensure that Deposit Taker’s customer data is handled and held in a safe and secure manner throughout the data transmission and processing phases. This includes:
- The incorporation of Experian’s overarching Global Security Policy (PDF 558KB) in governing the provision of the FSCS SCV Verification service
- Secure transfer protocols
- Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
- Connect Direct
- Encrypted e-mail
- Data encryption e.g. PGP, Entrust and WinZip
- Physical and logical data security
- Automated data destruction following processing completion
- Full system and data control logs, monitoring and auditing functions
