Beneficiary Accounts
For a claim in respect of an account that has beneficiaries other than the account-holder, for example a Trust, a Pension or a Client Account, we require full details of all the underlying beneficiaries to establish their eligibility before any compensation can be paid.
The Account Manager (the Trustee or Client Account Manager) must provide the following information for each beneficiary of the Trust or Client Account:
- Their full name and mailing address
- The percentage split of Trust assets to which each beneficiary is entitled or
- The balance to which each client is entitled within the account
To do this please download the template below, complete it as per the instructions and return it to beneficiaries@fscs.org.uk
Please note that you are also required to send us a copy of the Trust Deed (and any other documentation that establishes the Trust) and, if applicable, any documentation showing amendments to the original Trust Deed.
If any of the Trustees or beneficiaries is a body corporate, we will need to see their financial accounts for the last three years. If the Trustees or beneficiaries are a partnership, unincorporated or mutual association, we will need to see their most recent financial accounts.
